Heather Thompson

I have been teaching Pilates since 1999. I was fortunate to train with one of the original elders, Romana Kryzanowska and I received my teaching certification in 2000. Romana was taught by Joseph Pilates and taught in his studio after his death. I have watched how Pilates can help people with autoimmune disorders, injuries, Parkinson’s, pregnancy, Diastasis Recti, and athletes all gain strength, stability, flexibility, and balance.
I love helping everyone feel better through movement, but I especially enjoy my pregnant mamas and postnatal mamas. I help new mamas find their core again and heal their pelvic floor and Diastasis Recti. I help my pregnant mamas feel beautiful, strong, and safe throughout their pregnancy.
I also love working with Athletes! Whether you are a runner, a CrossFitter, a ball player, or a gymnast, core strength, coordination, breath, and mobility are crucial to your success. I can help you in the studio and I also venture out to various CrossFits, Yoga studios, dance studios, and anywhere you need to make my services more attainable to you! . I hope to empower people to take control of their training and become strong, supple, and balanced. I look forward to hearing from you!

Hard work and determination drive Allison. She has crossed more than a few Ironman finish lines, and run 7 marathons all while home schooling two kids. She has more than 30 years experience in the fitness industry teaching and training people to reach their personal best. By day, she is a masters student completing her masters in counseling and a freelance writer who enjoys crafting great prose, and reading anything non-fiction.

Allison has been passionate about fitness her entire life. She got her start teaching dance and parlayed that into teaching Pilates, Spinning, group exercise and personal training. These days, Allison can be found most every day on a bike, reformer, or in her garage gym.

“I have practiced Pilates for more than 20 years, 15 of those as both a student and instructor. I have found that stability and strength are the foundation and secrets to most everything else that I do. Pilates has allowed me to better enjoy life, whether that is providing alignment to properly sit in a chair, or strength and stability to swim, bike and run.”
Allison has been mentored trained under classical Pilates practitioners from Stott and Peak. She also holds certifications from FitCore, Mad Dogg Athletics (Spinning), American Council on Exercise and National Academy of Sports Medicine.

I am a lover of learning & what I enjoy most about teaching is opening up a path of discovery,
an infinite journey to self-exploration.  My approach is not confined to poses & movements that
exercise the body.  It also encompasses breathing techniques & practices that explore & inspire
the mind & heart.  I believe this practice is about finding out what is best for you, your body,
mind & heart.  I pledge to apply my knowledge & experience to best benefit you.  I’m incredibly
grateful to all the teachers & individuals (past, present & future) who continue to encourage &
inspire me on a daily basis.  I am forever a student.

Jason Taylor

Jason’s yoga journey has quite literally been a gift; it all started with a class package given to him as a birthday present. It only took one class to hook him, and before he knew it, he was throwing himself into his practice. Just a few short years later he completed his first 200 hour teacher training at The Woodlands Yoga Studio in order to share the gifts of yoga with others.

Studentship is important to Jason and he continually furthers his yoga education. IN addition to regular classes every week, he frequently attends workshops and makes time to study other forms of movement to bring into both his personal practice and his classes. Jason also loves to play with all the toys, finding ways to integrate props into nearly every practice.
